Shawna Mua

FORT WORTH, TX

Shawna Mua was born and raised in Fort Worth, Texas, where she still resides. Before becoming a trainer with LDTT, she worked as a kennel technician/assistant at an animal hospital. She’s always had a fascination with the bond between man and dog and she equates the ability to successfully communicate with a different species with having a super power. Shawna feels as though it’s her calling to educate dog owners about the psychology and body language of their dogs so they can strengthen their relationship.

She found Lorenzo’s through of friend who had their German Shepherd trained at LDTT. She saw the difference it made in their life and she wanted her own German Shepherd to behave better. After contacting and hiring Lorenzo’s for her dog, the results were immediate and very impressive, so she decided that’s what her career should be.

“I want to and will continue to train with LDTT because we are a team that provides inspiration, motivation, knowledge, growth, and care for each other and our clients. We focus on passion, success, education, and of course our mission: Keeping dogs out of shelters and in safe and happy homes. This team has become family and what’s better than a family who all love dogs?”

Her goals in life include working out to tone up, learn something new every day, travel, become an inspiration, provide health and happiness to her family, buy a ranch where her dogs can roam, and save as many dogs as she can. When she’s not training dogs, Shawna likes to hike, sketch, and she hopes to someday ride horses on a regular basis.
